Wonderful spice makes everything nice

Let's delve into the intricacies of the ingredients that make up this delightful blend, with their scientific names and the nutritional benefits that each brings to your cup of chai.

Organic Black Tea (Camellia sinensis)

Black tea serves as the foundation of chai. Known for its bold, robust flavour, it's also rich in polyphenols, antioxidants that promote heart health, reduce blood pressure, and improve gut health.

Black Pepper (Piper nigrum)

Black pepper lends a subtle heat to the chai blend. It's rich in a compound called piperine, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It also improves the absorption of other beneficial compounds.

Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)

This sweet and aromatic spice is known for its digestive benefits. It's also rich in antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage and lower blood pressure.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum)

Cinnamon adds a sweet and warming element to the chai blend. It's rich in powerful antioxidants and is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to lower blood sugar levels.

Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum)

Cloves contribute a warming and slightly bitter taste. These tiny spices are packed with antioxidants, and studies have found that they may help protect against cancer and regulate blood sugar.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

Ginger adds a spicy kick to chai. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, it also aids in digestion and may reduce muscle pain and soreness.

Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans)

Nutmeg offers a slightly sweet and nutty flavour. It's a good source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds and has been linked to various health benefits, including improved digestion and brain health.

Pimento (Pimenta dioica)

Pimento, also known as allspice, brings a unique blend of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon flavours. It's a rich source of antioxidants and has antimicrobial properties.

Star Anise (Illicium verum)

Star anise lends an aromatic, licorice-like flavour. It's packed with antioxidants and vitamin A and C, which support immune health.

Raw Organic Honey

Honey not only imparts natural sweetness, but it's also rich in antioxidants, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, and can soothe a sore throat.

Each ingredient in the Chamellia 9 Spice Honey Chai blend contributes not only to the taste but also to the nutritional richness of our Brewed Sticky Chai Latte. This makes it more than just a beverage; it's a cup of wellness, offering a symphony of flavours and health benefits in every sip.
